Customers Rave about How Easy Atomic EFI is to Install

AtomicB2 MSD’s engineers and technicians along with many insiders have been working a long time to develop and test the new Atomic EFI. Numerous cars have had the system installed, tweaked, and reinstalled countless times during the development and testing process so that MSD would be totally confident in the Atomic EFI when it came time for the official release earlier this year.

So, when that much effort and care go into a new product, it is only natural to be a little anxious for those first customers’ reactions. Well, the good news keeps coming in!

The latest comments are from Paul Faessler and his team at Paul’s Automotive Engineering, out of Cincinnati, OH, who are some of the first end users to install and use an Atomic EFI. The PAE team bolted the Atomic onto a customer’s ’69 Mustang as soon as the package shipped to them. In their online review Paul’s team says, “The return-less system was a breeze to install.” Paul also tells us that the 351W Mustang fired up on the first turn of the key and that they are extremely pleased with the drivability of the Atomic EFI system.

At the end of the review PAE said that they expect the Atomic EFI to be very popular – and they are absolutely correct! In fact, the market’s response to the Atomic EFI has been so overwhelmingly positive that orders are far exceeding our sales forecast creating a short-term backorder situation. MSD is currently doing everything possible to increase production and fill backorders ASAP but every Atomic unit is dyno tested and goes through a rigorous QC process. MSD is only able to ship a limited quantity each week. However, we are committed to getting the backorders resolved shortly and promise the Atomic EFI will be worth the wait!

NHRA Winternationals 2012

John Force raced to his 134th career Funny Car victory Sunday at the O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals at historic Auto Club Raceway at Pomona. Force teammate Mike Neff ended up against John Force for the second place spot. Spencer Massey took the wally in Top Fuel out running teammate Antron Brown. In Pro Stock Greg Anderson took home the win with Jeg Coughlin runnering-up. Congratulations to all the winners!

Races are ON!

NHRA kicks off the 2012 season in Pomona - and MSD is there! Our Support Semi is stocked with all of our electronic components and the tech crew is on hand to handle any racer's needs. BITD Parker 425 Desert Race

It was a great weekend weather-wise, along with 250 racers for the Best in the Desert season opener! Robby Gordon took the overall win today at the 2012 BITD Parker 425, winning over Troy Herbst and Ryan Arciero. As time went on the course got more chewed up and vehicles starting falling to what Parker does best, cause DNF’s. TSCO Racing and the Weyrich brothers put up a good showing with Mark finishing 3rd overall and 2nd in Trick Truck, while brother Gary battled from starting 70th to finish 15th overall. Coming in second place in Class 1500 was Ray Griffith, after qualifying 4th on Thursday he kept a fast pace to put him in the same spot overall.

Of the top 20 overall vehicles, only 6 of them qualified in the top 20. While qualifying towards the top is typically an advantage, in a race like Parker where attrition takes it toll, just finishing the race is a battle.

Counterfeit 6AL boxes that reach the level of replication detail such as these examples could easily be passed as an authentic MSD product to the public. Likewise, whatever issues arise from the inferior performance of counterfeit boxes will reflect on MSD as well. Please be aware that units such as these are being circulated and contact MSD immediately if you believe you have found a counterfeit unit.
