The Holley model 4150 and 4160 platforms have been in production since 1956, first debuting on the 312ci V8 in the Ford Thunderbird, and over the years since they have been used as OEM carburetors and have found wide acceptance in the aftermarket. Nearly every form of performance automotive and marine application one can think of has relied on a Holley carburetor to deliver power reliably for years on end. Don't just guess at how the carburetor works or adjust random screws hoping things will work out. By the end of this course you will have a fundamental understanding of the various circuits and their functions as well as initial setup, tuning and proper rebuilding procedures. Other popular Holley models, such as the 2300, 4165, 4175 and 4500 variants will be discussed as well.
This course is intended to clear up general misconceptions about carbureted fuel systems as well as give students a first hand experience on tearing down, inspecting and re-assembling a model 4150 or model 4160 carburetor. Course registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so take advantage by registering early! Students will be subjected to catered lunches as well as in-depth presentations/discussions by Holley's two training instructors.
Each participant will be granted the opportunity to tour our manufacturing facility (which has been producing carburetors for over 60 years) and allowed a loaner carburetor for practical training and disassembly. Participants may bring their own carburetor but it must be clean, dry and free of fuel/solvent fumes.
This course runs for two days and takes place at the National Corvette Museum from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day. They are limited to 15 people and costs $425.00. Holley EFI's Tier 1 class spans two days. At the end of this class, participants will have the tools they need to successfully complete a conventional "canned" Holley EFI installation. Class space is currently limited to 15-20 people per session. The goal of the limited space is to allow the instructor the ability to work with each participant one-on-one as much as possible. This class is ideal for those who are new to electronic fuel injection in general, as well as those who are new to Holley's EFI systems. This two-day class costs $425.00 and will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Class registration fees are non-refundable. Class dates may be rescheduled at our discretion (subject to a rescheduling fee) no less than 30 days before your original scheduled class date.

Holley EFI's Tier 2 class will expand on what was learned in the Tier 1 class, to include advanced tuning and set up principles. The Tier 2 course also runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This two-day course has a cost of $425.00. Class size is again limited to 15-20 people per session. Prior completion of the Tier 1 class is required.
The Tier 3 class will take all of the previously covered information and apply that knowledge to more complicated engine combinations that utilize turbochargers, nitrous oxide, active speed management, advanced one- and two-axis control tables and water/methanol injection. Like the Tier 2 course, this course is limited to 15-20 people per session, runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will be a two-day class with a cost of $425.00. Prior completion of the Tier two class is required.
The Holley EFI Combo class is a four-day training class that combines the curriculum of the Tier 1 and Tier 2 classes into a streamlined learning experience that will remove the redundancies associated with taking both classes separately. This will allow for more in-depth discussions and examples that may have been time limited otherwise. This course will be held at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky and will have a cost of $825.00. The course runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and class registration fees are non-refundable. Class dates may be rescheduled at our discretion (subject to a rescheduling fee) no less than 30 days before your original scheduled class date.
Holley EFI's comprehensive combo class will combine the curriculum of the Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 classes into a streamlined learning experience that will remove the redundancies associated with taking all three classes separately. This will allow for more in-depth discussions and examples that may have been time limited previously. This six-day course will be held at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky and will have a cost of $1,200. The course runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Class registration fees are non-refundable. Class dates may be rescheduled at our discretion (subject to a rescheduling fee) no less than 30 days before your original scheduled class date.
