Late Model driver Cory Hedgecock kept up his yearlong hot streak at "The Gap," Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn., with a second consecutive victory and ninth overall this season. Driving his MSD-equipped #23 machine, Hedgecock charged into the lead on the opening lap and maintained it right to the finish. "There were some really good Steel Head racers there, so I knew I had to get to the lead quickly in the feature," said Hedgecock, who also scored a top-five finish in the track's Crate Late Model feature. "Thankfully, that’s exactly what I was able to accomplish." Hedgecock's Eagle Racing Engines-prepped powerplant is fired by a host of MSD ignition products, including the new 6CT Circle Track Ignition, a Blaster coil, and a black Pro-Billet distributor.
